It's here... It's gorgeous... It's BasicGrey!!

Lemonade and June Bug have arrived. They are on the shelves... and we have already placed a re-order for items that sold out in hours!!!

New embellishments, new cardstock, new die-cut papers (to die for!!), new party favors, new card kits, new double sided paper... all I can say is WOW!!!!

New format for our Scrappy Project!

Pink and brown are our signature colors... but we also like being GREEN! Instead of handing out our Featured Project instruction sheets - we are going to post them on our blog!! Come on in to Scrappy Boutique and we have all you need to do this project right on The Bar!!

Here are the instructions:
Ink Technique Tuesday chipboard pieces in Versa Magic Dew Drop Thatched Straw ink. Tie ribbons.
Layout 1:
Adhere "your smile says it all" to chipboard piece. Use pop dots to apply butterfly. Adhere chipboard to the top of your page.
Cut mats. Yellow: 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 ink in Versa Magic Dew Drop Red Brick. Blue/green: 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 ink in Thatched Straw.
Adhere "Sweet" title with pop dots.
Adhere "Keep these memories" tickets as desired.

Layout 2:
Cut mats. Yellow 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 ink in Red Brick. Blue/Green 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 ink in Thatched Straw.
Position chipboard heart shapes and your photo mat as desired and adhere to background.
Attach transparency butterfly with glue dots.
Add "keep these memories ticket".

Kelly Goree from Basic Grey coming to Scrappy Boutique!

omg!! omg!! omg!! For a Basic Grey junkie like me... this is so exciting!! You know those great layouts we have showing off our new Basic Grey lines? You know who designed them? Kelly Goree! You know the great layouts we have been getting in our Page of the Month kit? You know who designed a bunch of them? Kelly Goree! When I look through the Basic Grey catalog you know who has most of the layouts in it? Kelly Goree!!! You know who my friend Louise idolizes?? Kelly Goree!! (sorry Louise... I got carried away)

Kelly Goree lives in the beautiful horse country of Kentucky with her husband of over 11 years and her three rambunctious little boys. She was introduced to scrapbooking in early 2000 just after her oldest son was born and it quickly became a favorite hobby then all-out passion. She'll tell you if she's not out chasing her boys or chauffering them to various sporting events, you can find her scrapping!

Kelly is a full-time staff designer for BasicGrey where she is a driving force in designing work for classes, tradeshows, catalogs and special events. In 2006 she had the honor of being a Memory Makers Master and has over 400 published works that can been seen in the pages of Memory Makers, Creating Keepsakes, Better Homes & Garden's Scrapbooks Etc., Scrapbook Trends, Paper Trends, Scrapbooking & Beyond and other scrapping and paper arts publications.

We are so excited to have Kelly Goree teaching at Scrappy Boutique!!! You won't want to miss this class. We are making the most precious circle mini-album. It is truly a treasure!!
