I am blogging... AGAIN!

So... I am trying to blog more often (you asked... I deliver) - but I want to make sure I say something worth reading. So... I want to talk to you about Scrap Pink. We are having a weekend crop at the store to join a national effort to raise money for Susan G. Komen For the Cure. We are on a waitlist basis for the event - and for those of you attending I am sooo excited. It is going to be so much fun. The theme of the crop is Celebrating the Special Women in Your Life - and that is what I plan to do. I will be hanging out with a group of very special women... and I will be thinking of those that aren't with me this weekend... and I will be thinking of those that aren't with me anymore. This awful disease has touched far too many of us... either directly or indirectly. This weekend is a reminder to keep all women in our thoughts and prayers.

Once you choose hope, anything is possible. ~ Christopher Reeve

If more blogging is what you want...

more blogging is what you will get! I have had a few people asking where my blogs have been lately (imagine that!!) and so I am promising more bloggin' in the future! People looked shocked when I said I didn't think I had that much to say!!!

So... here is a story about CHA. Scrappy Boutique belongs to a group called Crafter's Home and we actually attend a 2-day show prior to CHA... well... although it is super fun - it is also super exhausting. So, when late evening of day 2 rolled around we were so tired that when we sat down to do an adorable make&take with the Love, Elsie Toby line we were not at our greatest - we laughed our way through it and ended up with a very sad card made from the very cute Toby line. We asked if we could take a picture of the very adorable make&take that ours was supposed to look like and as we took the picture... we realized that we were doing the make&take with ELSIE FLANNIGAN herself!!!

She was very gracious and she tried her best to say our version of the make&take wasn't sad... she also said we could post her picture on our blog and wished us the best of luck!! Come in and check out her new line Jack and Abby and look out for a class that Angelia will be doing soon.
