Cool new item in!

Everyone knows our motto... "a layout just isn't a layout until you apply stickles!"

Well we have in the new Tim Holtz distress stickles. They are awesome. If you check out his blog (keep scrolling and scrolling) you will see ways that he has used them. Very cool!

I'm baaaack!!

Okay - so I know it has been a while. Yikes!! My excuse list is too long so I will spare you the details. Please forgive me!! I mentioned that I would blog about our trip to Arizona - so here are some fun facts about our trip....

Creative Escape is put on by Heidi Swapp and Bazzill and they line up some amazing instructors. We had an AMAZING time!! It was relaxing, motivating, fun, just all around a great girl's weekend.

Everything was pink and black. So of course - we LOVED it! (Pink and brown even better... but that's okay we can be flexible). This is my sister-in-law Robin, me, my mom and my Aunt Jayne.

We took a tour of Bazzill and of course I bought tons of paper... it is a sickness I tell ya!!

We ran into Barbara and her friend Sandy - we had a great time hanging out... it's what makes scrapbooking such a great hobby!! They made the most adorable aprons, headbands and FLIP FLOPS... yup... Flip Flops with Bazzill flowers... does it get better than that??

So if you want to get the real skinny on what it is like traveling with "the Scrappy's" just ask Mallorie. We adopted her into our group and we all had a blast. There is the sad part of our trip which is that Angelia was supposed to be there with us but decided to stay at a lovely place in Orlando called ORMC.... WE MISSED HER!!!

So here we are in class and here are some of the amazing instructors we had:

Of course... we had a class with Heidi Swapp (very motivational!!!)

Anyone recognize this guy?? Oh ya!!! TIM HOLTZ! His class was AMAZING!

This is a slide from his class and I just love it... it says "live the life you've imagined". I LOVE THAT!!

Here is the cool project we made (I'm not sure if this is Tim's sample or my project. (HEE HEE))

Janet Hopkins - so very talented - had the most stress free class of the weekend and the project was great!!

She had a GREAT quote as well... "No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending"

Kelly Goree from Basic Grey... yup... BASIC GREY!!! YEAH!!

We also took classes with Kolette Hall, Jenni Bowlin and sooo much more!!!

Really what made this weekend so amazing besides being in the presence of such amazing scrapbookers was the time we spent hanging with the girls... nothing beats a weekend with the girls!!!

To finish our weekend, we actually went horseback riding!! My mom will be so thrilled that I didn't choose a picture of me... but chose to show a picture of her instead. (I might be using sarcasm there... I'll wait to get a response from my mom to be sure).

(howdy cowboy!!)

(howdy cowgirl!!)

I'm so happy to be blogging again... I hope you liked my recap of our amazing weekend. YEAH SCRAPBOOKERS!!!!
